Our Story
Founded by Massachusetts couple Allan Dines and Heidi Tissenbaum, Healing All Together is a company designed to assist people in their journey of recovery from illness or adversity, with a lighthearted and communal approach. This idea evolved from Heidi’s own experience after having been diagnosed with cavernous hemangioma, a type of blood vessel malformation.
On a ride to the hospital for one of Heidi’s dozens of MRIs over a 20 year period – and to lighten the mood – the couple jokingly said to each other, “It’s a nice day for an MRI!” Realizing the power that a positive attitude and a little humor can provide, the couple decided to share their private moment of levity with the world through Healing All Together.
Our Vision
We decided to create a logo that symbolizes how the power of caring can positively impact recovery, bring a community together and establish a supportive and hopeful environment. Sharing our inspiring brand with you through our merchandise, spreading this message and bringing people together is what we’re about. We hope our company can bring support and resources to those with illness, their caregivers and to friends and community trying to find ways to support them. There are so many things that can help but the first step is knowing you are not alone, letting people help, and sharing experiences with those who truly understand.
Like a hug, the logo is meant to remind recipients of the community supporting them, and seeing someone else with Healing All Together merchandise will identify another person involved in the healing community.
Through the sale of products like T-shirts, mugs, journals and other related items, all emblazoned with the eye-catching logo as well as sayings relevant to those going through adversity – such as the one shared by Heidi and Allan in the car – Healing All Together contributes to the community through a donation of 10% from each sale to worthy causes. The first recipient of donations is the Angioma Alliance.
